The RAF Central Fund is looking for a volleyball coach for the 2024/25 season. 

Hours: 4/5 four day (Sunday to Wednesday) training camps split throughout the season

1 seven day training camp for Crown Services Tournament (normally in May)
1 ten day training camp for the AIRCOM Tournament every second season
Potential to attend an overseas tournamen

Pay: £100 - £150 per day, paid monthly upon invoice

DIV1 Coach Vacancies

LSVC is looking for 2 x volleyball coaches for our two upper advanced teams: KNIGHTS and POWERBALL, each training once per week and involved in league matches.

This is an exciting role for an experienced coach that is interested in supporting our advanced teams in the LVA first division.

Qualifications and experience
Volleyball England Coach Award or equivalent country of origin qualification, or 5 years experience playing at advanced level.
Competitive London-based remuneration dependent on level of qualification and experience.

The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint a new BUCS Head Coach ahead of the new 2024-25 season. 

The role involves working with the established Women’s A and Men’s A teams to run training sessions and provide matchday coaching. 

Training is expected to be on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while matches are on Wednesdays, according to the BUCS schedule. 

The season runs from 2nd September to April, with home games and training are held at the same venue: University of Bristol Indoor Sports Centre, Tyndall Ave, Bristol, BS8 1TH.

National League Coach

Coventry and Warwick Riga is looking to appoint a new National League coach for their Division 3 women's team, who are excited to start their 2024-25 season.

The ideal coach will have a Volleyball England Level 1 coaching qualification or above. If you have the skills and experience, and can commit to coaching but don’t yet have this qualification, the club can support you in achieving your Level 1.

You'll be in great company at Riga:

  • The club that won Volleyball England's Club of the Year in 2020
  • A club that has a successful junior programme
  • Home to an internationally qualified coach of a Division 1 NVL team
  • You would be joining with the support and infrastructure of the Club including established players, venue and a dedicated committee that continues to give the club opportunities for growth at both team and individual levels.

The club makes paid contributions to help cover the expenses of the appointed coach staff for training sessions and games.

Junior Coaches

Stockport Volleyball Club (based in South Manchester) is looking for juniors coaches for its boys and girls programmes for the 2024-25 season. It is looking for coaches to lead its U15 and U16 boys and girls teams, from September 2024 to April 2025.

The coach commitment must be for two practice sessions per week, periodic coaches meetings, Volleyball England Tier 1 competitions and local competitions.

The minimum qualification to apply is Volleyball England Assistant Coach Award (Level 1), or equivalent experience. Funding for coach education is available. 

A coach honorarium is provided as is coach apparel.

Talent Working Group Lead

If you're passionate about volleyball and want to play a key role in growing the game, Volleyball England wants to hear from you. 

The Talent Working Group Lead role, which is key to the delivery of certain projects around The Game Plan strategy, is open for appointment. 

The delivery lead, which is a voluntary position, will lead and develop their own Working Group and also report into a Sub-group.

Talent Pathway Coaches (Indoor and/or Beach) 

The purpose of these role is to be a member of the England Talent Pathway coaching staff in one or more roles, as designated by the appropriate Performance Director. 

Roles assigned will be based on current needs and priorities, as well as the volunteer’s skills, experience, and developmental potential. 

Talent coaches also help build a strong community of supporters who can aid in administering and promoting the England Talent Pathway. 

Please note: Candidates will need to fulfil several requirements, including, but not limited to: a current enhanced DBS check, carried out through Volleyball England, which is no more than three years old (costs covered by VE), and attendance at a recognised and valid Safeguarding and Protecting Children training course in the last three years (costs covered by VE).
