Safeguarding and Welfare

Volleyball England believes that all participants, staff and volunteers should feel safe while participating in volleyball. We are committed to creating and maintaining a positive environment where all concerns will be listened to, acted on appropriately and all participants treated with respect.  

Everyone in volleyball has a responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and adults. Volleyball England has developed two safeguarding policies to protect all participants.  

Our Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy provides a range of guidance and resources to help safeguard from any risk of harm to children & young people are provided with the best support available. Whether you are a parent/carer, young person, or a Club Welfare Officer you will find resources specific to your needs. 

Our Safeguarding Adults Policy supports Adults at Risk to have an enjoyable experience of volleyball in a safe environment. Whether you are a parent/carer, adult at risk or a Club Welfare Officer you will find resources specific to your needs.
