Domestic and overseas teams invited to enter the Volleyball England Sitting Cup 2025

Teams will compete for the Ken Edwards Trophy – named after the stalwart player and an administrator – with the competition to be played at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering on 23rd March 2025. 

Overseas teams are welcome to put themselves forward, with the Norwegian national team taking part in the competition last year.

The maximum number of teams who can enter is 16, with a minimum of five teams required to enable the event to run. 

Cost per team is £84 for affiliated teams with Volleyball England and £105 for non-affiliated teams. 

The format will see teams will be drawn at random in a round of 16. The winners will progress to the quarter-finals of the cup and the losers into the quarter-finals of a shield competition. 

Along with placement matches, each team would play at least four games for a full quota of 16 teams. 

There will also be training and scrimmage opportunities for all teams the day before the competition.
